Mr. George Thornley is a past Texas RPLS with approximately 30-years of surveying experience. Understanding the Scope of Services requested is a vital part of any project, and he is very well versed in that venue. Mr. Thornley is also responsible for the overall project management and internal contract administration of surveying projects here at MGES, P.C. Mr. Thornley has extensive experience with contract administration and construction inspection duties as well as estimating and cost analysis required throughout the life of a project. When a project is completed, he is responsible for project analysis. Since every project is unique, this analysis requires a thorough understanding of the project’s progression and client expectations. Mr. Thornley has been very successful at maintaining the control necessary to efficiently monitor costs. Included in his experience are proposals, negotiations, and final contracts for projects with the Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District; Charlotte Motor Speedway, Tennessee Valley Authority, Cherry Point Marine Air Station, Farmers’ Home Administration, US Department of Interior-Appalachian Trail, and the NCDOT.
