Mr. Carpenter has over 23 years of civil engineering experience in roadway design and land development. He has supervised numerous construction projects, storm drainage improvements, water and sanitary sewer systems, dam design, subdivision design, and commercial sites. Mr. Carpenter’s project management experience includes coordination with both private and public sectors facilitating full design teams comprised of hydraulic engineers, traffic engineers, structural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical engineers, landscape architects as well as state and local permitting agencies. Mr. Carpenter has also performed site work costs estimates for many of his projects for budgeting purposes and for bid comparisons.
Mr. Carpenter has experience using software such as Land Development Desktop and AutoCAD to aid in site design activities such as grading, utility profiles, and road design. He generates grading plans exclusively through modeling with Land Development Desktop which results in more accurate earthwork calculations, construction staking and allows for isometric renderings to be produced quickly from the grading plan. He has also received formal training in ArcView GIS software. In addition to these, Mr. Carpenter has experience using analysis software such as HydroCAD and Pond Pack for storm water detention and pond modeling.
