Mr. Jerry Meade, P.E. has over 27 years experience in the engineering consulting industry in the areas of mining engineering, land management, environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction management. His responsibilities involve company planning, civil engineering and surveying product production, client satisfaction, accounting and cost controls, contract management, regulatory liaison, and public involvement. Meade's technical background is environmental regulatory analysis, spoil minimization, stream buffer design, design of high hazard dams, sedimentation control using SEDCAD model, stream impacts, stormwater best management practice designs, and stability analysis using 2-D and 3-D REAME 2008 model. He has prepared numerous environmental permit applications for both coal and hard rock mining projects.
Meade formally worked as an industrial engineer for the Pittson Coal Group conducting mine feasibility studies, reserve studies, process control, and mine permitting. He currently serves as a Chief Engineer for Adele Mining & Development. Meade's areas of expertise are mine property leasing, land acquisitions, and public interaction.
